Man threatens to blow up ex’s camper

A Warren County man was arrested on the evening of Tuesday, Aug. 25, in an incident that could have turned deadly for his estranged girlfriend.

Jamison Garret Pack has been charged with stalking, possession of a prohibited weapon, and unlawful possession of a weapon.

According to a warrant obtained by Warren County Way and written by Warren County Sheriff’s Deputy Douglas Wells, Pack’s victim called 911 at approximately 9:57 p.m. to report that her ex-boyfriend was there and “threatening to shoot stuff on the property and blow up her camper.”

Upon arrival, deputies found Pack sitting on a bench on the property with a firearm in his lap. They detained him.

“Mr. Pack admitted to being intoxicated and coming to the property to make contact with the female to get her to talk to him and get a ‘point across.’ A search of Mr. Pack’s person revealed a man-made improvised explosive device. Mr. Pack stated the explosive device contained two wires connecting to it and gunpowder.”  

The incident occurred on Robert Wilson Road in Centertown.
