Warren County Jail population on Monday was 237, according to Commissioner Randy England.
The total was provided to members of the full Warren County Commission on the evening of July 20.
“We have 181 males, 40 females and 16 TDOC,” said England, who is chairman of County Corrections Partnership Committee.
Tennessee Department of Correction inmates are eligible to be transferred but continue to be housed locally. Without those, the jail would have 221 inmates.
“Everything is running pretty smooth out there,” England continued. “Our next meeting is Aug. 3, a Monday, at 3:15 p.m.”
