Warren County Circuit Court Criminal Court Docket
A Warren County woman was sentenced to two years for violating the state’s sex offender registry.
Shawna Renae Coates, 34, plead guilty on June 3, 2026, before Judge Larry B. Stanley for violating the sex offender registry. She was handed a two-year sentence with the Tennessee Department of Corrections (TDOC). Of that time, she must serve 90 days before serving the remainder on state probation. Additionally, she must pay $350 and court costs. That sentence is to run consecutively with a violation of community supervision. In that case, Coates was sentenced to 30 days for violating probation.
Coates was placed on the registry after being convicted of exploitation of a minor by electronic means and sexual exploitation of a minor for an incident that occurred back in 2023. In that case, the state alleged that she sent and requested nude photographs through Snapchat with a minor.

Kevin Lee Rutledge was sentenced to 18 months with the TDOC for a sexual offender registration form violation. Of that, he must serve 120 days before serving the remainder on probation. Additionally, he was sentenced to 11-months, 29-days for violating his probation with a criminal offense. Those sentences will run concurrently.
Lois Ambrose was sentenced to time served and had his probation extended for one year for a violation of probation.
Robbie A. Bates had his community control revoked for a violation of probation. He was given credit for any time served.
Latricia Reene Brady will serve the remainder of her sentence, which is 15 days, for violating probation.
Stanley William Morris, Jr., was sentenced to serve 240 days for a probation violation. He will be furloughed into an inpatient rehab program.
Tiara Danielle Smith was sentenced to two years with TDOC for theft and must pay $3,500 in restitution to the victim. This sentence will run consecutively with a violation of probation for which she was reinstated to TDOC.
Sharon Elaine Cantrell plead guilty to simple possession of legend drug, which is any medication that requires a prescription from a licensed healthcare provider. She must pay $50 and court costs.
Robert Joseph Cappella was given 11-29 to be served on community supervision for theft of property. He must pay $1,200 in restitution to the victim.
Gary Wayne Collins was sentenced to six years TDOC probation for possession of schedule II drugs.
Christopher Steven Higgins was sentenced to 30 days in jail for a probation violation. However, he was given 30 days to enter a 28-day rehab in lieu of jail.
Sean Bryan Holder was sentenced to six month’s on probation for reckless driving. He must pay $500, plus court costs, and attend Alcohol Safety Education.
Joshua Allen Jones was sentenced to 11-29 probation for simple possession of schedule II drugs. Of that time, he must serve 30 days and pay $750 and court costs. In a separate case, Jones was sentenced to 11-29 probation for simple possession of schedule II and sentenced to 11-29 for simple possession/casual exchange. He must pay $1,500, plus court costs. The first sentence will run consecutively to the second two.
Michael Wayne Pennington must serve 30 days for violation of probation.
Amanda Nicole Workman had her bond reduction request granted. She stands accused of a laundry list of charges, including position of methamphetamine, cocaine, and paraphernalia. Judge Stanley reduced her bond to $125,000. He has ordered her to be placed on GPS monitoring, if she gains pre-trial release.
