The city of McMinnville is wasting no time in beginning its search for a new administrator.

Warren County Way reached out to Mayor Ryle Chastain questioning when and where the job would be posted.

“Tomorrow… city website, TML, MTAS, ICMA,” Chastain replied via text message, referencing July 17.

Those initials stand for Tennessee Municipal League, Municipal Technical Advisory Service, and International City/County Managers Association.

Previous searches have taken months. They include a timeframe for applicants to apply, telephone interviews, and in-person interviews. However, the exact steps the city will use this time is unknown.
