General Sessions Judge Ryan J. Moore handed down a 62-day sentence to a man in court on a laundry list of charges.

For DUI second offence, Alberto S. Bercenas must serve 45 days of an 11 months, 29 days probationary sentence. He must undergo a drug and alcohol assessment, conduct 24 hours of community service, and pay $600, plus court costs. He was also handed a consecutive sentence of six months’ probation and must serve two days for a charge of driving while license suspended. A third charge, that of leaving the scene of an accident, Bercenas was given six months on probation. However, that time will run concurrently. A fourth charge of simple possession was dismissed.

Bercenas was also in court that day to answer a charge of evading arrest. He was given 11/29 probation and must serve 15 days. Moore set that time to run consecutively to the other cases, bringing his total time to serve in jail to 62.

Other cases resolved on Thursday:

Augustin Trejo Manrique was ordered to pay $50, plus court costs, for driving without a license.

Benjamin Kenner Martin was sentenced to six months’ probation for leaving the scene of an accident with property damage. He was ordered to pay $50 and court costs.

Chad Gregory Bailey was sentenced to 11/29 on probation and must serve seven days in jail for first offense driving under the influence. He was ordered to pay $350, plus court costs, undergo an alcohol and drug assessment, attend DUI classes and serve 24 hours of community service.

Jose Diaz-Armendariz was sentenced to time served (three days) and 11/29 on probation for underage possession of beer. He must also pay a $50 fine and court costs.

Teddy Lee Dodd was given 60 days for violation of probation. That time will run consecutively to 11/29 on probation for a charge of theft. He was ordered to pay $206 in restitution, attend cognitive behavioral classes and stay out of Walmart.

Arthur Glynn Goodwin was sentenced to serve 45 days for violation of probation. His probation was extended by six months, and he was ordered to undergo alcohol and drug assessment.

Ayla Alexandria Keller was sentenced to time served (19 days) for child abuse, neglect, or endangerment. She was placed on 11/29 probation and ordered to have no contact with the child until classes are completed.

Michael Vincent Lance was ordered to serve 30 days for violating probation and have his probation extended by six months.

Joshua Keith Ledbetter was ordered to serve 30 days for violating probation. He was reinstated to community control for six months. That sentence will run consecutive to a sentence of two days for driving while license suspended.

Charles William Moore was ordered to serve 30 days for violating probation and was reinstated to probation.

Connie June Morton was ordered to serve 30 days of an 11/29 probationary period for simple possession. She must pay $750, plus court costs, undergo alcohol and drug assessments, and attend cognitive behavioral classes.

Caden Brylee Newby was ordered to serve 60 days for violating probation and be reinstated to probation.

Melissa Ann Nunley was released after serving 30 days on a violation of probation charge. She will be allowed to serve 48 hours at a time and must undergo drug and alcohol assessment.

Tyler Orr was ordered to serve 90 days for violating probation and have his probation extended for six months.

Wilda Leanne Perez was sentenced to 11/29 on probation for theft. She must pay a fine of $200, plus court costs, $206 in restitution, and was banned from Walmart.

Gaquaveon Ragsdale was sentenced to 11/29 probation for simple possession and must pay $250, plus court costs, and take cognitive behavioral classes.

Corey Scott Thomas was sentenced to six months DUI Court, of which he must serve five days for driving while license revoked. For a charge of DUI second offence, he was handed a consecutive sentence of 11/29 DUI Court and must serve 45 days. A third charge, that of joyriding, netted him a third consecutive sentence of six months DUI Court and he must pay restitution of $375 to the victim.
