Early voting kicked off Friday and will continue through Saturday, Aug. 1, for the Primary and General Election on Thursday, Aug. 6.
Tossing their hats into the ring for Warren County Executive are incumbent Terry L. Bell (R) and newcomers J.C. Petit Jr. (D). and James Ferrell and Jason McEwen, both Independents.
Incumbent Jackie Matheny Jr (R) is seeking to retain is position as Warren County Sheriff against the opposition: James “Bo” Ramsey (I).
In the race to become the next 31st District Attorney General is interim Matt Colvard, who was appointed by Governor Bill Lee in November 2025 to fill the expired term of Chris Stanford, as well as Lisa Zavogiannis and Randal Gilliam. All are running as Independents.
Commissioners Ronald S. Lee (R) and Christy Ross (I) are vying to retain their seats. Looking to ousts them are Joan Harris Presley (D) and Ryan Sexton Sr. (I).
Also running opposed are incumbents Blaine Wilcher (R) and David Dunlap (D), who are pitted against James A. Zahn (R) and Dustin Stoetzel (I) for District 4 Commissioners.
There are three-way races for District 5, District 9, District 10, District 11 and District 12 commissioners:
District 5: incumbents Brad Hillis (R) and Scott Kelly (R), and Melody Martin (I).
District 9: incumbent Carlene Brown (I), Richard G. Blackburn Jr. and Stephen Potter, both Republicans.
District 10: incumbents Cole Taylor (R) and Gary Prater (I), and Brandon Knight (I).
District 11: incumbents Michael Bell (R) and Steve Glenn (I), and Tyler Simmons (R).
District 12: incumbents Carl D. Bouldin (R) and Kenny Moffitt (R), and Tommy Davenport (I).
In the race for Warren County School Board, are Monti McMahan Hillis (R) and Nikki Griffith Reynolds (I) in District 1; Chris Cope and James T. Jacobs, both Independents, for District 5. Cope is the incumbent.
While most candidates for Warren County Constables are running unopposed, there are two exceptions: Trey Hobbs and Brandon Wanamaker for District 8 Constable, and Ed Farmelo and Christian D. Taylor for District 11 Constable. All four are Independents.
Running unopposed are Casi Powell Cantrell for Circuit Court Clerk, Lesa Scott for County Clerk, Wes Williams for Register of Deeds, Josh Roberts for Road Superintendent, Darlene Bryant for Trustee, Charles Dotson and Cam Montgomery as District 2 Commissioners, Ken Martin and Christopher L. Rippy as District 3 Commissioners, James Hines for School Board District 3, Mark Guertin for District 1 Constable, Phillip (Tank) Young for District 2 Constable, Tommy Adams for District 4 Constable, Howard E. Pennington Jr. for District 6 Constable, Jason Dodson for District 7 Constable, Mike Swims for District 9 Constable, Brian Wilkinson for District 10 Constable and Allen Dodd for District 12 Constable.
There were no qualified candidates in the races for District 3 Constable or District 5 Constable.
For Tennessee State House 43rd District: Republicans Dewayne Howard and Paul Sherrell, and Democrat Samantha Petit.

9 a.m. to 12 noon.
Centertown Community Center (July 27 through Aug. 1). Monday 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Tuesday through Friday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Saturday 9 a.m. to 12 noon.
Morrison Ruritan Club (July 27 through Aug. 1. Monday 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Tuesday through Friday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Saturday 9 a.m. to 12 noon.
