Judge Ryan J. Moore sentenced a man to 150 days in jail for a motor vehicle accident that occurred when he should not have been driving.
Hector M. Guzman Ornelas must serve 120 days in jail and 11 months and 29 days on probation for third offense DUI. He must pay $1,100 and court costs, conduct 24 hours of community service and his license was revoked for six years.
Ornelas was also handed two consecutive sentences: He was given 10 days in jail and 11-29 on probation for leaving the scene of an accident with property damage. He must pay $500 in restitution, court costs, and take a cognitive behavioral course. He was given an additional 20 days in jail for driving while license revoked.
Other cases resolved:
Edward Daniel Davis was sentenced to 11-29 probation for simple possession/casual exchange. He must also pay $250 and court costs, as well as take cognitive behavioral course. A concurrent sentence of six months on probation was given for possession of drug paraphernalia. He must pay a $150 fine.
Edward Daniel Davis must pay a $10 fine for violating the state’s financial responsibility law.
Ramsey Mikkael Hale must pay $50 and court costs for violating the state’s financial responsibility law.
Michael Dusty Hollis Jr. must pay $50 and court costs for violating the state’s financial responsibility law.
William Campanelli must serve seven days in jail and 11-29 on probation for first offense DUI. He will lose his license for one year, must conduct 24 hours of community service and take a cognitive behavioral course. A concurrent sentence of 48 hours in jail and six months on probation was handed down for driving while license revoked. Additionally, he was fined $25 for speeding.
Christopher Dodson was sentenced to 60 days for violating the terms of his probation. His probation was extended by 11 months and 29 days.
Nolan Scott Hillis was sentenced to 45 days in jail and 11-29 on probation for second offense DUI. He must pay $600 and court costs, license was revoked for two years, take alcohol and drug classes, and perform 24 hours of community service. He was handed a concurrent sentence of 11-29 probation for possession of a schedule IV drug. He must pay $750, undergo an alcohol and drug assessment, and take a cognitive behavioral course.
Jeremy Jernigan must pay a $250 fine and court costs for leaving the scene of an accident. When those are paid, that charge will be dismissed.
Ina Nicole Kramer was sentenced to serve 30 days in jail for violating the terms of her probation. She was also handed a consecutive sentence of 10 days, plus a $50 fine and court costs, for a capias warrant.
Joshua Keith Ledbetter was sentenced to serve 46 days in jail for second offense driving while license suspended. He must pay a $50 fine and court costs.
James Dillon Mitchell will serve 11-29 probation for evading arrest. He must pay $250 and court costs, undergo an alcohol and drug assessment, take a driver’s safety course and cognitive behavioral course. A consecutive sentence of 11-29 on probation was given for reckless endangerment. He must pay a $200 fine.
Robert Michael Moffitt entered a best interest plea for on a charge that he violated the terms of his probation. He was sentenced to 60 days in jail.
John Stella must serve 60 days in jail for violating the terms of his probation.
John Edward Strayn must serve 60 days in jail for violating the terms of his probation.
Olivia J. Thomas must serve 48 hours in jail and 11-29 on probation for first offense DUI. She must pay $350 and court costs, conduct 24 hours of community service, among other conditions.
Jennifer Renea Walker must serve 48 hours in jail and six months on probation for driving while license suspended. She must pay $50 and court costs.
