Narcotics arrests made following ongoing investigation
After a lengthy investigation into a suspect believed to be bringing large amounts of methamphetamine into Warren County, investigators with the Warren County Narcotics Division arrested Jessica Lynn Riley, 48, and her wife, Angela Nicole Riley, 43, both from the Nashville area.
The arrests were made Wednesday evening, July 29, 2026, after investigators intercepted the pair as they were on their way to deliver methamphetamine to a person in Warren County. Upon stopping the vehicle driven by Angela Nicole Riley, investigators found approximately one pound of methamphetamine, approximately 2.5 grams of fentanyl, marijuana, pills, drug paraphernalia and cash.
Both subjects were charged with felony possession of methamphetamine, felony possession of fentanyl, possession of a Schedule V drug, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving while in possession of 5 grams or more of methamphetamine.
Both subjects remain jailed on bonds greater than $100,000 and will appear in General Sessions Court of Warren County for arraignment.
Sheriff Jackie Matheny thanked the Metro Nashville Police Department and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation for their assistance during the arrest.
"Both agencies were very responsive to requests for information regarding our subject, and ultimately, that information helped us accomplish a successful completion to our investigation," Matheny said.
"The arrest of Jessica Lynn Riley will shut down a major flow of methamphetamine into our county. I want to thank my narcotics division investigators for a job well done. Investigations like these take time, patience and determination."
