Dog owners can now take advantage of a free online session to help them train their beloved pet: www.pheefee.com

“There are 30-minute virtual dog training sessions completely free of charge,” said Dallas Neal, the owner of 5 Acre Farm Dog Training & Boarding. “It’s like a zoom call. You are on with a trainer, and they are talking to you in real time. This isn’t a pre-recorded session. This is you and the trainer.”

There is no catch, sign-up fee, or scheduling commitment required. Owners can simply connect with a qualified trainer instantly at their convenience and discuss issues like potty training, crate training, puppy biting and nipping, jumping on people, socializing, leash walking, leash pulling, house training, anxiety, and confidence building.

Neal has worked in the pet care industry since her teenage years. Her first job at the age of 14 was cleaning kennels at Sparta Road Veterinary Clinic. She eventually obtained her veterinary assistant certification and spent 13 years in that role. Last year, she completed her training to become a certified Professional Dog Trainer.

Neal feels that helping pet owners will reduce the rate at which dogs are surrendered to animal control facilities.

“I spent eight months in 2025 on staff at [Warren County Animal Control and Adoption Center] as a behavior consultant and the majority of the surrenders coming into the facility were from families with limited resources that struggled with every day ‘naughty’ dog behaviors like jumping, barking, and digging. This free 30-minute session will help people get started on how to deter those behaviors and other negative behaviors. If we can educate and empower folks to be more responsible dog owners, I think we will see a huge shift in the shelter crisis.”

The online virtual option became available in May of this year. Neal is on the team for data launch trainers who helped support the platform in its first month.

“We want it to be accessible to everybody. There are people who need help but might not have the money to obtain private training sessions. I think this platform is a way to do that. It helps trainers, because we don’t have to suit up and go to private lessons, and we don’t have to schedule people to come into our homes. Because this makes it easier for us, we lower our rates. The clients, the dog owners, get a discount from the convenience of their home and it’s completely one-on-one with a qualified person who can help them.”

Not all trainers are participating in offering a free session. To find one that is, log onto www.pheefee.com, read and agree to Client Portal Agreement, create an account and add your pet, and under promotions, select “Rescue Dog Promotion” to view available trainers offering a free session.

“The free 30-minute session will go over whatever may be going on with your dog. At the end of the session, the trainer you worked with will send you a recap of what we covered and homework, so that you can continue training outside of the conversation you just had. I hope this platform helps alleviate some of that stress and makes professional guidance more accessible to those who need help with their pet,” said Neal.
