Warren County Sheriff’s Office announcement

Investigator Spencer Pryor and Investigator Jason Walker recently completed specialized training through the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI), further strengthening their skills and knowledge as members of the Warren County Sheriff’s Office.

Investigator Pryor attended the three-week TBI State Leadership Academy, which emphasizes leadership development and prepares law enforcement professionals to become stronger leaders within their agencies.

Investigator Walker attended the TBI Criminal Investigator School, where he received training in a variety of investigative skills, including interview and interrogation techniques, search warrant writing, photography, and crime scene processing.

Sheriff Matheny feels strongly about continuing education for his officers. He said, “Law enforcement is constantly evolving, and our officers have to be prepared to evolve with it. Any opportunity we have to send our officers to specialized training makes our department stronger, better prepared and better equipped to serve the people of Warren County.”
