Project Graduation fundraiser begins

The WCHS 2027 Project Graduation year-long fundraiser is in full force. First up are Vouchers, Sonic Cards, Kettle Corn and Pork Rinds.

Smooth Rapids, Mud Bums, Prater’s BBQ, TOPS and Pizza Hut are participating in vouchers. Smooth Rapids will be donating 5 percent of entrée sales every Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. Mud Bums will be donating 10 percent of all food sales every Sunday. Prater’s BBQ will be donating 10 percent of food sales on the last Monday of each month. TOPS participates on the second and fourth Tuesdays. Pizza Hut participates the last Tuesday of each month. Vouchers must be presented to participate.

Sonic Cards are available until May 5, 2027.

Southern Kernel Kettle Corn: Available in Regular Kettle, Caramel, Tutti-Frutti, Chicago Style, and Caramel Green Apple for $12. Orders taken until Sept. 2. All bags are 8x24.

Pork rinds: Available in Plain, Cajun, BBQ, Salt & Vinegar, and Bacon Strips (wheat) for $10. Orders taken until Sept. 2. All bags are 8x14.

Fall Mum Sales begins Sept. 1.

Upcoming fundraisers: Mia Bella Candles, Dr Pepper Sales, Autumn Street Fair, Crumbl-Basketball, Silent Auction-Basketball, and Road Block, among others.

Project Graduation is an all-night senior celebration event that offers a safe, fun and community-driven alternative. It provides a drug- and alcohol-free environment for seniors to celebrate together after the formal ceremony.
