Saturday, Aug. 15
Caring Hearts United presents “See if you Remember,” a musical trip through time at Park Theater. Timeless songs, classic memories, feel good fun live on stage. Entertainment begins at 7 p.m. Tickets are general admission: $20. Call 931-607-9462 to purchase tickets or more information.
Relay for Life of Warren County begins at 4 p.m. at McMinnville Civic Center. Support a worthy cause, the purpose of the event is to raise funds for the American Cancer Society to support cancer research.
Chapter 1700 Fly/Drive/Bike/Walk/Craw/Hop-In Rain or Shine Breakfast will be held 7:30-10 a.m. at Warren County Veteran’s Memorial Airport. Pancakes, eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits, gravy, OJ and coffee. All pilots, EAA members, aviation buffs, and the public are welcome.
Warren County Genealogical and Historical Association will meet at 2 p.m. for its monthly session. “Mill at Rock Island” by Josh Welch. Meetings are held in the Early Voting Room located at the back of Warren County Administrative Office Building on Locust Street.
There will be a benefit for Dwight King at Fairview CIC. He recently suffered a massive heart attack. The benefit will help with expenses. Meal starts at 5 p.m. Live auction at 6:15 p.m. Let’s rally together for Dwight.
Rock Island State Park will host a free Native Bee Craft for Kids at 3:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. Join the Ranger at the campground shelter to make a craft that is cute-as-a-bug in celebration of native bees. During this fun and simple craft demonstration we will explore the diverse colors and shapes that our native bees come in and discuss their importance to our food supply and our natural world. This craft will use construction paper, glue, scissors and a little folding. It is most suitable for kids between the ages of 5 and 13. Register for the event on Rock Island State Park’s website.
Monday, Aug. 17
Regular monthly session of the Warren County Commission. Among the items on the agenda is a resolution to increase the monthly stipend for county commissioners, from $260 to $417, and tie the amount to the county executive’s annual salary: 1/24th.
Cornhole is back at Mudbums on Monday nights. Games begin at 7 p.m. Bring a partner, meet new players, and compete for bragging rights. $10 blind draw. For more information or to sign up, call 931-507-2867.

Warren County Industrial Development Board holds its meetings on the third Tuesday of each month at 4:30 p.m. in the Chamber of Commerce Community Room.

There will be a Beersheba Springs Arts & Craft Fair on Saturday, Aug. 22, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and on Sunday, Aug. 23, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Beersheba Springs United Methodist Assembly.
Viola Fire Department and Viola Homecoming host its annual Truck and Tractor Pull at 7 p.m. Gates open at 4 p.m. Several MTPA sanctioned classes, as well as a 10,000 Hot Farm Stock Tractors unsanctioned class. Tickets are available at the gate: $15 for adults, $5 for children ages 6-12, and children 5 and under are free. This event was canceled in July due to the weather.
Tennessee’s Free Hunting Day. Residents can enjoy a full day of hunting license-free as squirrel season officially opens. It’s the perfect chance to get outside, try something new, or reconnect with a classic Tennessee tradition. Whether you’re a seasonal hunter or someone who’s curious to give it a try, this day is designed for you.

Farm to Table is scheduled for 6 p.m. at the Farmers Market. The Main Street McMinnville event is a special dinner that features delicious, locally sourced food from farmers and restaurants to celebrate the best of what the community has to offer. The dinner also serves as a fundraiser supporting downtown revitalization efforts, including grant matching funds for façade improvements, streetscape projects, and the creation of community spaces downtown. Main Street McMinnville member tickets are $90, non-member tickets are $100, and platinum tickets $800. Tickets can be purchased on Zeffy.
