Koen’s Creamery opens at Three Star Mall

There are big scoops and big smiles at Three Star Mall as the new ice cream shop has opened!

Koen’s Creamery opened today and will have hours seven days a week.

It was supposed to be a soft opening for employee training, but crowds came flooding through the door.

Store owner Jamie Warrick made her signature Koen Banana Split and customers gasped at the size, many taking pictures of the monstrous treat.

Larry and Janice Boyd were among the customers enjoying ice cream Friday afternoon. Larry scarfed down his ice cream like a hungry wolf.

Jamie said there’s rolled ice cream to accommodate many dietary restrictions – including dairy free and gluten free.

Store hours have not been set, but they will be open every day while they determine what their hours should be.

Koen’s Creamery is a fabulous addition to our mall, which is coming back to life. Free video games will be set up in the mall during Koen’s Creamery hours of operation.
