A fundraiser is underway for MATCH. Offered are fresh, fragrant greenery for a Christmas to remember.
According to MATCH member Brad Durham, the wreaths will make a wonderful addition to anyone’s holiday decorations.
“They are handmade and shipped directly from North Carolina straight to McMinnville, just a few days after they're made. They haven't been in a warehouse. They haven't been sitting next door or somewhere. They're not dried out. They're very nice. They're 24-inch Fraser Fir.”
Durham says this fundraiser was offered last year and people loved the quality of the wreaths.
MATCH, the McMinnville Action to Create Housing, is an effort to help our homeless neighbors secure housing and provide them with wrap-around services and support so that the transition is a permanent one.
Wreaths are $35. They can be picked up on Dec. 2, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., at Farmers Market. For those who opt to pay $41, their wreaths will be delivered to their Warren County home between the hours of 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. on that day.
Visit MATCH at mcminnvilleactiontocreatehousing.org or on Facebook to request and pay for a wreath.
