Warren County Sheriff’s Department has released its report for the second quarter of 2026, which runs April 1 through June 30.

Total juveniles arrested: 61

Total prisoners through the jail: 641

Total accidents worked: 89

Total complaints received: 4,463

Total escorts handled: 32

Total hours spent transporting: 218 hours, 52 minutes

The department made 102 trips out of the county during the quarter. The largest number being 26 trips to Cannon County. Rounding out the remaining: 12 to Rutherford County, 11 to Van Buren County, 9 to Putnam and Davidson counties, 5 to Hamilton County, and 3 to Coffee, Grundy, Overton, Rhea and White counties, 2 to Bledsoe, Sequatchie, White, Williamson and Wilson counties, and 1 to Cumberland, Lauderdale, Marion, Marshall, Morgan and Wayne counties, and 1 to Marion County, Ill.  

Total gallons of gasoline: 16,036

Total hours of overtime worked: 655

Total amount of overtime paid: $25,030

During the quarter, the jail housed 6 Tennessee Department of Corrections inmates, 83 felons (less than one year), 2 parole violations, 209 convicted misdemeanors, and 341 inmates waiting on trial.

According to County Commissioner Randy England during Monday night’s session, the jail’s population on that day was 212: 42 females and 170 males.
