A driver who failed to stop after a motor vehicle wreck was sentenced to jail and probation on June 11 by General Sessions Judge Ryan J. Moore.
The man, Jesus Buenrostro Flores was sentenced to 11-29 probation for failing to stop at the scene of an accident involving injury. He must serve 10 days, pay a $50 fine and court costs, and pay $4,800. Additionally, he was handed a $50 fine for driving without a license, $10 fine for registration expired, $10 fine for no vehicle registration, and a $50 fine for possession of an open container.
Bianca J. Chisam was sentenced to 11-months, 29-days on probation for driving on revoked license. She must serve eight days in jail and pay $50, plus court costs.
Also on the docket:
Ricky Dale Comfort Jr. was sentenced to 45 days for possession of prohibited weapons. That time will run concurrently with 45 days given to him for possession of paraphernalia. However, he was given 10 days to run consecutively for a failure to appear for a court appearance on May 14.
Pablo Cruz was handed 11-29 probation, with seven days to serve, for first offense driving while intoxicated. He must conduct 24 hours of community service, pay a $350 fine and court costs, and have his license revoked for one year. He was issued fines of $100 for having an open container and driving without a license.
Pablo Cruz Hernandez was issued fines of $30 for not wearing a seatbelt and $50 for not providing proof of insurance.
Christin Louise Cantrell was sentenced to 11-29 on probation for driving under the influence, first offense. He must serve 48 hours, pay a $350 fine and court costs, and perform 24 hours of community service.
Zaria K. Lester had her community service extended for violating probation. She must submit to random drug screenings twice a week, finish community service and attend Safe Baby Court.
Matthew Lee Watters was sentenced to six-month probation and must serve four days in jail for driving with license suspended. He must pay $50 and court costs. Additionally, he must pay $50 for violating the state’s financial responsibility law.
