A man will spend 12 years in the Tennessee Department of Corrections for delivery of methamphetamine.

Circuit Court Judge Larry B. Stanley Jr. handed down the sentence on Wednesday to Todd Alan Schmeling. He must also pay a $2,000 fine and court costs. A charge of sale of methamphetamine was dismissed.

Other cases resolved:

Dakota Ryan Bennett was sentenced to eight years in prison for selling methamphetamine. He must pay $2,000 and court costs. His probation was revoked for violating the terms of community control and must serve the remainder of his sentence. The sentences will run concurrently.

Lucas Cane Coppinger had his probation revoked for violating the terms of community control. He will serve the reminder of his sentence.

Kurtis Michael Grubbs was sentenced to timed served for violating the terms of probation.

Timothy W. Johnson was sentenced to time served (43 days) for violating the terms of probation.

James Riley Priest will serve 180 days in jail for violating the terms of probation. He will be allowed to furlough for treatment.

Charles Jackson Tucker was sentenced to five concurrent six-year prison sentences for sale of methamphetamine. He was ordered to pay a $2,000 fine and court costs on each count.

Jeffery Allen Ward was sentenced to six months TDOC probation for assault – offensive touching. He must pay court costs. To run concurrently is a four-year TDOC probationary sentence for theft of property.

Christopher Weiss will serve 90 days and two years on TDOC probation for introduction into a penal institution. To run concurrently will be a sentence of 90 days and 11-29 TDOC probation for simple possession of a schedule III drug and 11-29 TDOC probation for five counts of shoplifting. He was ordered to pay restitution to Walmart.

Brandon Jay Hodge was sentenced to 18 months of TDOC probation for attempted filing a false report. Hodge was ordered to pay court costs. The judge approved judicial diversion. If Hodge completes the terms of his probation without incident, the charge will be dismissed.

Crystalle Storm Stansell will serve 364 days and eight years on probation for selling methamphetamine. She was ordered to pay $2,000 and court costs. She can be furloughed to ARC and must pay the $1,500 fee.

Bryan Ray True will serve 10 days for violating the terms of probation.

Tyler Hargrove will serve 269 days and two years on TDOC probation for sexual battery. He was ordered to have no further contact with the victim.  

Christopher Swartz will serve 120 days day-for-day for assault on law enforcement. That sentence will run consecutively to any other sentence.
