Viola Valley Stars and Stripes Festival begins at 5 p.m. Bring a lawn chair, appetite, and your American spirit and enjoy an evening celebrating independence and America’s 250th birthday. Entertainment includes the “On the Road Again show” and Ninth Sun.

Local Connection Series: Easton & Friends. This event started in 2023 at Smooth Rapids and has grown into a successful event coming to Park Theater for a second year. Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door.
Tuesday, June 30
Farmers Market Senior Nutrition Program 2026 will take place from July 1 through Sept. 15. Qualified seniors, age 60 and over, receive $40 total checks to use during that timeframe. Applications will be taken at a drive-thru outside Warren County’s Farmer’s Market, from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Must prove proof of residency (utility bill, mail with address), age (driver’s license, photo ID), and meet income guidelines (social security award letter, bank statement). Grand Opening of the new church building at Calvary Baptist Church on 610 Myers Lane. A ribbon-cutting ceremony is slated for Sunday, July 5, at 10:30 a.m. A special service will follow at 11 a.m. Dinner provided.

Bobby Ray Detachment #1377 Marine Corps League is looking for active or former Marines, FMF Corpsman, and FMF Chaplains to join us in camaraderie, charity, and community projects. The group helps schools, charities, and Veterans in need. It raises funds through donations, fundraising events, and the generosity of event sponsors.
