Cruisin’ for the Hawks Car and Motorcycle Show is Sept. 12, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
This is the second year for this event. It is a fun-filled day featuring cars, trucks, motorcycles, local vendors, food, raffles, prizes and family fun.
“We raised almost $3,000 last year,” said Lindsey Adams.
Proceeds benefit students at Hickory Creek Elementary School.
Adams credits some of that last year’s success to offering entries the chance to win a one-of-a-kind trophy.
“We are one of the few car shows that do custom-made trophies. We don’t buy them, and everybody’s trophy looks the same. My husband and his cousin built them last year, and they were made of car parts. We want them to all be unique and something in which the winners can be proud to display.”
Entries pay $20 the day of the event. The event is held at Warren County High School.
“Whether you’re bringing a vehicle, shopping with local vendors, sponsoring, volunteering or simply coming out to enjoy the day, we’d love to have you join us.”
